98mm single dosing grinder with 1000w motor for a third of the price?

Before the EK43 there was a lot of grinders pretty much identical in function/design by different manufacturers. Although this copy the EK43S design very specifically, which is a third wave coffee shop icon by now. I own an EK43S but wouldn't say the EK is a very innovative design

XBloom all-in-one coffee brewer (Kickstarter)

Seen that video! I backed the kickstarter once they announced the reusable pod. Now the wait continues. If my wife doesn't like it, I'll just bring it to the office

La Marzocco Linea Micra owner reviews

I plumbed mine today. A 3/16" barb fitting fits the inlet hose quite snugly. The machine was inoperable (before and after activating plumbed-in mode) indicating a water problem. Fresh Roast SR800 - Thermocouple to iPhone?

Any temp probe you have can work... I stuck a grill probe with a temp readout down the shaft. The advantage of having a readout on something like artisan is you really are watching the Rate of Rise graph to know when to make adjustments to your heat. But having a consistent drop temp with any basic probe would help

Saka Caffè in the States

Just opened and tasted first shot of Crema Bar, usual FAST delivery from Matt at Cantina Coffee. I must say, I now understand why many of you love this particular blend! Talk about "punch in the face"? Wow . This blend has it in spades! Less of the chocolate to be sure than the Gran Bar, which

Weber EG-1 Version 3

I've had very mixed results with the cast burrs for espresso. They're extremely finicky to grind size, and I prefer the taste of light roast espresso on both the MP and HU burrs over the cast. The cast, however, is my favorite for filter
