MiiCoffee Apex - finally, the (almost) whole package at a 'beginner' price
Definitely cool to have options like this at this low price these days compared to what was available just 10+ years ago

64mm burrs with a pre-breaker vs. 83mm without
It's been shown years ago with the EG-1 and other grinder that screwless burrs have no effect on grinding, just a bit easier in cleaning. I personally even find burrs with screw holes better as the magnetic mount on most let's them move from left to right due to the play between the burrs and the burr carrier. With screws

This seems to be the CRM3007g which can be bought quite cheap directly in China. {link} I know some guys used the same machine for their Kafmasino One project

Sweet Marias *Popper
You don't need to mount a thermocouple to be able to adapt roasts to your own greens on the IKAWA Home, although there's great documentation in threads here on how to do so, also threads on adding a humidity tester to detect first crack, and a spreadsheet for developing your own profiles. I especially appreciate experimentation done by GDM528 and

I truly doubt added surface area due to no screw holes has any detectable effect. The holes don't really change the grind path or the grind length. But it's nice for cleaning and removal

Make-up air for roaster
That would be a very nice solution to keep the exterior air moving across the work area instead of mixing with the interior air, much like a lab fume hood works. I have more time this morning to discuss this. As was noted in the thread, that method doesn't work very well with my roaster which uses an atmospheric

More Flavour Less Gear #crisis
You can buy a bag of roasted coffee from a roaster that will also sell you greens of the same coffee, and then try to duplicate their roast. I used to do that a few times a year. For example, Klatch for medium roasts, Sweet Maria's for medium+ espresso blends, Prodigal for, well, I haven't tried to match Prodigal yet

Looking at the espressooutlet site, they have the machine even discounted for 389 or 449 depending on what coupon you get. Very good deal in my opinion just based on price

Gevi Grindmaster?
I believe Zerno had 7.5n.m torque - which goes to show it's not that simple

Make-up air for roaster
We are talking about two different types of systems. You are talking about an older style furnace that uses interior air for combustion. My furnace is a high efficiency unit, it directly draws outside air that is closed to the house, uses it for combustion, and exhausts out. My intake is not used by anything other than
