Peet's fancier stuff?
Tim your reply reminded me of a TV show with Steve Sims from Bodhi Leaf and some guy from Shark Tank were talking about branding and Steve replys "Yeah, we roast alot of their coffee for the stores" and Shark Tank guy had dollar signs flash over his eyes. I've had coffee from the San Francisco Blue bottle location

The new DF83v
I meant the clips just before and after that. As for the springs, I hope they are in there securely, otherwise they will be loose-parts-galore

IKAWA Home - profiles
While experimenting with stepped profiles, I developed an association of grassiness with the browning phase of the roast: "IKAWA Home - profiles" Many IKAWA profiles tend to be really short, especially for lighter roasts. That gets me concerned the greens aren't spending enough time to cook out the grassiness. My current solution is to start RoR profiles

Unacceptable beans from Color Roasters
While I have never ordered from Color, I have noticed that e-commerce sites using Shopify tend to have more issues being updated in a consistent fashion. I have no idea if this is due to the proprietor of the business or shopify. Its merely an observation. There are many wonderful roasters in the US and abroad. If you enjoy

Rust on my Lido ET
I have tons of antique and vintage hand grinders (Zass, PeDe, etc). I love them but none of them can touch the Lido (even my gen 1 original) in the cup. The one time I went to use one of them, just for fun, I realized half the flavor I was expecting was missing. Since then, all those grinders are

Short
I have a 3 year old Lelit Bianca, V3. When I with the power on, it displays the lelit logo and after 2-3seconds, the panel switch on main house board flips. I plugged it to another outlet, same thing. I checked the 2 heating elements with a multimeter. I am getting good connectivity there. There doesn't seem to be any

New Bezzera Strega Not Filling Boiler
Good 2 hear. I find while the Strega is solid it's pretty straight forward with it's design. Makes it a bit quirky. The refill is direct contacts with the plumb in bypass a female spaded wire bridge connection . I didn't get one with my Top so I made one. Works ok. Sometimes my

ECM Synchronika Steam Boiler Tripping GFI
I have a 2019 ECM Synchronika that recently started tripping my GFI. This only occurs when the steam boiler is on. Everything I read online suggested that I replace the steam heat element. I did that today and the issue persists. Does anyone have a suggestion on what I can troubleshoot next? With the replaced steam heating element

Compak E8 OD stops grinding every now and then
Hello, I have eight years old Compak E8 OD that unexpectedly stops grinding. When I press the portafilter against the dose button the grinder starts grinding but before the grind timer goes to zero the grinder sometimes stops. Anyone experienced the same? Regards, Timo

Unacceptable beans from Color Roasters
So I have purchased this coffee a couple of times from Charlie at Color coffeeroasters in Colorado. I enjoyed my bag so much I reordered a 5lb bag. The first couple times I did order from them I did have problems with communication not getting acknowledgment of the order, Sending the order out things of this matter. But
