Are your sure it's not a loose magnet? I had one drop out and the WTD tab made a thumping noise as it hit the magnet. Tiny spot of superglue and all sorted

The replacement part is a motor driver (motor controller is how I'm thinking of it, not the motor) to fix the stalling. People are calling it stalling. At 90 RPM my grinder stopped in the middle of grinding for 11 seconds consistently every time. My "temporary fix" has been running it at 130

I haven't taken the back off yet, just going off the PDF files. I have no idea if the electronics itself is causing your noise. I'll report to the group soon. The replacement part will be here within the hour

my backplate won't budge at all, I'm sure if it I give it a light tap somewhere it might but then I might risk ruining the paint, what did you do to get it to dislodge? and was your repair have to do with a thumping type of noise? the sound reminds me of if you have something stuck on

It does take a few seconds for the capacitors to charge up (I am assuming there are capacitors in there) after switching on the rear AC switch. So if you turn on the rear AC switch and then immediately push the on/off pushbutton, then the motor might not start. I think that happened to me once and this

For me, there was a very obvious point where it felt like "if I push this any further it's gonna do damage". There's an issue I've had several times now, and I'd love to know if anyone else has seen this. Sometimes I'll switch on the grinder before loading in any beans, and the light switch will illuminate, but

Can you share where this was posted? I experienced some stalling grinding expresso-fine for the first time. No biggie, first time I've had to deal with it. But now I fear something has gone horribly wrong. I went back up a rotation for my morning pourover and found that stalling was still happening at any RPM setting, and

Someone earlier mentioned it sounds like a cow bell when you release the coffee out of the tumbler. I am able to get the coffee out making very little noise:{video}

Still getting used to using it, but so far I really enjoy the grinder, or the results I get out of those big 83mm Mazzer Burrs at least. Seems to be very versatile and works well with light or darker roasts, also works well for aeropress and likely other coarser brew methods which was surprising to me. For a 'conical'

I have had the grinder in action for six weeks; I ordered the minute the pre-sale email arrived. Went for the Onyx with Magic Tumbler. Looking around various forums there is some angst about delivery timescales, but I seemed to sidestep that. I received an immaculately boxed grinder on 6 January. It looks exactly as I expected, I hesitate to
