I will say that out of the 3, lambro is the smallest by quite some margin so if size matters you should consider that. Also, off the top of my head I think the only chrome on the lambro is on the group so that might make restoration a bit easier

I usually bring it to a boil, lock the portafilter, shut the element off and pull the shot as soon as the bubbles stop. I find the group head comes up to temp as soon as the water boils

How hard would it be to print a bottomless portafilter for a faemina baby that accepts baskets for the cafelat robot? There's always cheap faemina for sale that are missing either the portafilter or the basket

I bought a cheap set of stainless feeler gauges and use those as shims. It's nice not having to fold or stack anything, you have all the different thicknesses you could ever need

There was always built in heating control, I think they are just refining it to lower warm up times
