After installing the toothed belt kit, my M3 grinder works well. It's not as beautiful as before, tho. {image} According to versalab, it requires the right torque to fasten some specific bolts and it's 100 lb-in for the pulley and 200 lb-in for the top plate. Half a turn is enough for my usage.(from espresso to drip) It has about 110 graduations(110mm, or 11cm) for half a turn. Btw, I drew this scale in autoCAD

After polishing the contact surface with metal polish, the static force and the friction will do the job well. It won't shift at all

Versalab M3 Grinder

My millennium europiccola has 51~51.5mm baskets and it's probably the smallest suitable basket size for the M3 grinder. I adjust the grind all the time. I think it's quite repeatable even before upgrading the lock knob. As for the upgrading kit, I had to file the underside of the break a little more...
