What kind of water are you using?

Why are SSP 98 LU out of fashion? I just replaced my 80mm Ditting LS with SSP 98LU and I am surprised with the great taste. (Ultra grinder, I have both sets of carriers)

What I understand is that the plastic in the water is the plastic from the container that dissolves, under influence of heat in particular. So keep your plastic bottles out of the sun. But what I like to know is: do all plastics dissolve?

i experience the same thing, variable pump noise. Do you have the machine plumbed in?
