Elektra Nino Grinder

But which one? Should I replace both of them? As for the attachment, it seems to be connected well (nothing is loose there). Yes, it dazzles me too. As for the grinder, it grinds other coffee now, without problems so far. This coffee is way softer than the one that was stalling the grinder

Elektra Nino Grinder

In my grinder, the smaller capacitor is 14 uF and the bigger one is 35 uF. I don't know whether these are low or high numbers. I am now in email exchange with Elektra. Whew, at least things are moving. Meanwhile, here is the photo of the grinder without its back panel. {image} {image}

Elektra Nino Grinder

"IRC the Nino has two capacitors, so it's highly likely that one is a start capacitor (to give extra "oomph" to get started with a load) and the other is a run capacitor (to supply power to the motor in between phase changes of the AC power). I'm guessing if you're having stalls after running fine f...

Elektra Nino Grinder

That is exactly what I am experiencing. Elektra, however has never returned any of my three emails sent in the course of several months, through different channels. So you think calling them will help the matter? Thank you very much for the clarification about the capacitors and coffee hardness. At ...

Elektra Nino Grinder

When I change the coarsenes, and rotate the lower burr by hand (wrench), it rotates freely and grinder grinds again for a time or two. Will try another coffee soon, but it is a ...

No, the beans are lightly roasted single origin from Costa Rica. No oil on the surface. Will investigate further today. Will clean the flap more thorougly with a weak suction of a vacuum cleaner (so not to bend it). I simply do not want to open the grinder that much

Elektra Nino Grinder

"how does it know"-I thought there is some sensor that tells the grinder to stop grinding in the event there is some obstruction to the coffee coming out od the chute. Then how come it just stops grinding? Will try to dismantle it today, to get better look at the flap. As for the coffee, I constantly

Elektra Nino Grinder

Thank you. Is there any kind of sensor there? Or how does it "know" that it should stop in case there is something there? Anyway, I have cleaned there, with a long brush, will see whether it will help in the long run. I grind coffee pretty fine, 14 g into 14g VST basket, to achieve 30 g
