Anita steam too hot, also noisy pressure needle?
As the OP of this thread, just coming back to report a happy update! In regards to the steaming issue, turns out, it was 100% the tip. I got around to trying out the stock tip and with no problems, got perfect microfoam again! Phew! I got a carton of milk a couple

Anita steam too hot, also noisy pressure needle?
Thanks Mark It's not so much varying amounts of steam, as it is just much higher temperature. I believe I am getting proper pressure as I can see the boiler pressure gauge at 1-1.5 and the brew gauge go from 4 to ~9 when pulling a shot. Also, can tell how the

Anita steam too hot, also noisy pressure needle?
Thanks guys. Ok, I'll get to reading up on that link. I typically have been using 4oz milk in a 12oz pitcher. And also the same milk brand, from the same store for over a year. And with that setup, things have been quite fine. Also, as mentioned, there were a couple

Anita steam too hot, also noisy pressure needle?
I searched the forum and the net, but can't quite find a solution. Two things: 1) It seems the steam on the Anita is way too hot. I have some years experience steaming/frothing milk and have been able to get very nice microfoam on machines of past and on a more or less consistent basis.

Just looking for some suggestions for a maintenance schedule in particular to an e61 HX machine (i.e Quick Mill). How to keep it in top shape, so it will last longer of course. Let's assuming 3 or 4x per day use, a cappuccino or two per day. 7 days a week. - Daily: - Monthly: - Every

No More Guesswork! Naked Truth of E61 Temperature Revealed
Ah, ok, I finally get it! I missed the part about your 1/8" digital thermometers being specially made for you. Well, I see you only have in stock the 1/8", so not much of a choice anyway. Most likely would stick with TC and meter setup so that's fine. Thanks

No More Guesswork! Naked Truth of E61 Temperature Revealed
Thanks Eric for all the clarification of this stuff. Can get confusing at times. Just one quick ? Re your last reply: Ok, so I gather 1/8" diameter digital thermometers are quite the norm out there, yes? And that we can find 1/8" diameter thermocouple probes quite ok as well? If so, yes

No More Guesswork! Naked Truth of E61 Temperature Revealed
Ok Eric. mhoy, thanks for the pic. While studying the pic, a question arose. That looks different from Eric's. It looks like a standard compression fitting without threads, but then a M6, 1mm screw that has been bored out of course, and then inserted and anchored in place into the compression fittin...
