Espresso Forge / Operator Error?
Hey Bill, Sorry to hear about the trouble and would love to get this fixed asap for you! If it was a thread issue, you would be leaking water and would know immediately - the same goes with the gauge hole threads. Almost every time we hear of an issue of pressure not building, it's remedied by grind...

Shipping Internationally
From the US it's a killer. I'd suggest for best price that USPS is about your only option, and getting a bulk rate is what you ideally want. I use ShippingEasy and they buy postage from Endicia and you get the best rate I've been able to find. But sometimes I do wish I lived in Hong Kong (or

Herbal Decaf "Coffee"
I haven't had other brands, but I definitely like coffee better...still it's not too bad for me. Reminds me of the NA stout I used to brew, I bet it would be good cold and served with nitro. I've had some good decafs, but they always seem finicky, dunno if guests would like this better. I just don't...

Herbal Decaf "Coffee"
Anyone heard of this stuff? Dandy Blend: {image} I've had much worse cups of coffee, and plenty worse decaf. It's even pretty interesting at espresso brew strengths. {image} I kind of like it...always tastes the same, but has me interested to try roasting my own. Ingredients: {image}

1 espresso machine and grinder: 3 very different users.
Your post is very good and entertaining writing, but I do feel it's been skipped over for just being too long. A summary in bullet form of exactly what you need will go a long way. I personally do feel that expecting one espresso machine to perfectly everyone's personality may not be realistic. It s...

Decent Espresso Machine
You can see if you add to cart, Sept 30th. Though I'll be happy if it's before the end of the year. Delays happen and it's a complex project. Maybe I'm just extra understanding due to my own project timelines

Decent Espresso Machine
I gave my input direct to John with the hope that he could do the same hardware on both models (or an easy upgrade parts kit...but this didn't seem feasible). I'm glad to see he went with it! I really think a lot of pre-orders going with the DE1 will want to upgrade once they see data come out from

Decent Espresso Machine
There shouldn't be any concerns with a factory bottomless. Though I'm not too familiar with the Londinium, the first bottomless pictured in that link looks like a semi-chop job. A normal factory bottomless should be able handle even when we get to 50g VST baskets

Pump cavitation with a 1/4" RO filtration system
Sometimes the reservoir pressure gets low. It's a sealed system, but over time it needs to be topped up. There's a Schrader valve on the front, check your manual and see when empty what PSI it should be at. My mother had one where it would never fully empty and was at 0 psi about half full. I had to
