Try feeding a bit faster to see if it stops that, if so, you're likely triggering the auto-off feature

While talking to them at the SCA show I was told they see no difference in taste other than cleaning metal filters is more annoying. They are really thin and flexible. Soaking in Cafiza was suggested as how to clean them

I was looking at the LifeX at the SCA show last week and was impressed by the burrs. Sadly I can tell you nothing about the quality of the grind or the grinder, but the guy in the booth was very passionate about it, far more than the average salesman in most other booths. I guess he had a hand

Congratulations on getting it running. Looks like a basic machine that out to last forever if you maintain and It's interestingly attractive. No idea what it is, but someone tried to differentiate it's looks from the more normal boring stainless box and I think it came out nice

They were out in the Ceado booth at SCA. That's the only grinder that's ever made me consider buying the show special on release because of the look. No knowledge and $6500 kind of got in the way
