How much coffee/espresso are you drinking everyday?

This still doesn't change the fact that espresso stimulates you. It just means if addicted, you're starting from lower level and only getting up to normal level. Still an improvement though. I "cross-train" with my coffee intake keep my body guessing. On an average day, I may have 1-2 doubles, but t...

Espresso with sugar?

Occasionally I'll add sugar to my single origin robusta shots. I think sugar compliments the nuttiness of robusta espressos and espresso blends. Other than that, I don't typically add sugar to my shots

Any tips on Paradise Roasters' Classico?

We used to use the mazzer mini to test our espressos (now we are using a robur), so going with that grinder would isolate one variable. I'll pull out the mini tomorrow and see how that affects the flavor profile compared to the robur. I forgot to mention that Miguel occasionally pulls a 14g double w...

Roast too fresh?

MVP Espresso 2009 by Paradise Roasters

As I mentioned in a previous thread, I suggest 7-10 days old for this espresso. Needs a bit more time for this roast

MVP Espresso 2009 by Paradise Roasters

And temp changes for that matter. At 202+ degrees is when the lower notes tend to come out. Under 202 and these lower notes are absent. It's a fun and interesting espresso. I would emphasize "sweet" over "chocolaty" on this espresso
