Gaggia MDF replacement burrs
Let me rephrase. I coudn't find on any of the parts sites I'm aware of (e.g., espresso parts) or Amazon. Usually wary of something this obscure. The question remains, why is it not available at more mainstream sites? Every other kind burr seems to be. At any rate, thanks for the link! Ok, searching ...

Recommended inexpensive scale for weighing coffee?
Can anyone recommend an inexpensive scale for weighing coffee? I've looked on Espresso Parts and on scales.com, and found them both difficult to search. Accuracy is often not spec'ed. Most of what I've found is either +/-2 gram or super accurate and expensive or just doesn't tell you. I'm looking fo...

Proper flow through shower screen of Gaggia Coffee
For interested lurkers, here is a link to kaanage's post on his solution: {link} I don't have the tools or the time to undertake this kind of surgery, so I'm continuing with lower tech approaches. Proper flow through shower screen of Gaggia Coffee

Proper flow through shower screen of Gaggia Coffee
Guess my instincts were right: bad design. Thanks so much for confirming this and saving me a lot wasted time wondering what I was doing wrong. I actually reverted to the old screen and am getting slightly better results. Just looking at them I would have guessed that as the old design would seem to...

Proper flow through shower screen of Gaggia Coffee
I have an ancient Gaggia Coffee that I have recently replaced the shower screen on. The old one was clogged, and the gunk so baked on no solvent could get it clean. What I'm wondering is, what should I expect to see in terms of how water flows through the screen. I had sort of expected to something ...

Markings on inside of basket
Just bought some replacement gear for my Gaggia Coffee. Both the single and double baskets have indents that go all the way around the inside of the basket. The old double basket did not have this. Can anyone tell me what purpose this serves? They look like they're marking a level, but not sure why ...
