La Marzocco Linea Mini safety valve removal
Update - got out the old hammer, tapped the top of the safety valve several times, then also tapped on the nut below the safety valve cup. Ultimately, that worked along with my technique of securing the whole piece to minimize risk of damage. Two options to remove the valve - either turn the safety ...

La Marzocco Linea Mini safety valve removal
Thanks for the tip.. I'll give that a try:) I can see two other options also. One, get a good vise grip on the lower nut and have somebody hold it steady so I can attack it from the top, and Two, remove the whole copper tube assembly at the large nut (item 4, page 20

La Marzocco Linea Mini safety valve removal
Hi Folks, I posted part of this in the discussion on the Linea Mini retrofit topic, and then I thought that I would ask here. I have a safety valve that I need to install per a discussion with Chris some months back and am only now getting around to do. Removed the protection cup cover (item

La Marzocco Linea Mini Connected Machine Retrofit Kit
Thanks for the up on using insulating tape on marking the cables, the metal box edge and the SSID broadcasting tip. Mine's on the way for a Wed COB delivery. Hopefully I'll have the installation of the safety valve figured out by then. Got the top of the "can" around the valve removed, got a deep 14...

La Marzocco Linea Mini with very low water flow through grouphead
Greetings! Same issue. Kept thinking that the water flow was getting worse for whatever reason, like screen being dirty, and after about a month of that, could not make an espresso regardless of how I changed the espresso grind. Research in this forum is, as usual, is awesome. Loved the information ...

La Marzocco Linea Mini - Chiara Mod
What a great build! Nice job, and love the inspiration and support you got here on the forum. Thanks for sharing all this info. Way beyond my being able to do it, but now that my gicleur is clogging up, I'm inspired to finally to try out the 6mm replacement... whee!

La Marzocco Linea Mini - paddle on, brewing stopped during extraction
I finally spotted this post. I've had multiple shots that were so s..l..o..w.. to get extraction at any normal pace that the timer part of my acaia lunar doesn't start even though some drops have fallen into cup. Maybe 30 to 40 seconds in, the flow would be starting to look good and then the LMLM wo...

Espresso Machine - Street Shops - Washington DC
Sadly, unless something new has popped up here, D.C. is a crummy area to buy an espresso machine. I've lived here over 35 years. I drove up to Boston, Massachusetts in the early 90's to buy a Bezzera, then bought La Pavoni in Italy, and recently bought a La Marzocco Linea Mini mail order from La Mar...

Portafilter funnel find
Yep, thanks. Was thinking of the black Decent portafilter funnel, but didn't like the it being labeled "decent FUNNEL" on the side(s). Of course, this also has branding, saying "Fruition TC" on the side(s) - not sure if it saying it twice, just like the decent one - but it is $11 cheaper and looks n...

La Marzocco Linea Mini portafilter basket sticking to gasket problem
Thoughts from Chris of LM After Sales when I asked about the silcone gasket (which I have but have not installed yet): I personally like the silicon gasket. It has a different feel and typically requires the portafilter to be engaged a bit more to the right, however it doesn't harden over time, and ...
