Left coast coffee

I have not visited a.c. in years. I insist I am NOT a troll. I was simply trying to write an interesting and entertaining post based on my experience compiled from 3 different visits to Ritual on 3 different days. At least I thought it was interesting and entertaining. Obviously I was wrong. I also ...

It's true I don't post much, but I ain't no troll. I've been around here since the beginning, since before you, actually. I had to follow the good guys over from ALT.COFFEE when they left. I would never want to stop learning about coffee. And I don't think I have a chip on my shoulder. I just

Well, I might have agreed with you a few years ago, but given the direction our county (my country) is headed today I do find it relevant, but I'll drop it if you will. As for the 'manly' comment, again, that was my daughter's observation, not mine. It DID make me smile, because it reminded me of that

Neither. Just an observation from a fellow businessman who bends over backwards for my customers in order to get paid with their hard-earned money. I find it necessary to remain in business. I marvel at those who don't

Having to go to San Francisco WAY more than I would like lately has given me a chance to try Ritual Coffee. Great logo... if you happen to love the former Soviet Union. I wonder if any of the folks at Ritual have ever even been in Russia. I have, and I cannot off the top of my head think

Wiring kitchen with 220V

When we built our house, I installed a dedicated circuit for the "espresso machine." I thought about it and elected to go with a 20 amps. I wired the house myself, so I can't comment on the difference in what an electrician would charge for the different wire sizes, the guy has to make a living. How...

Does PID'd Silvia need a cooling flush?

Thanks for the tips. Someday I'll be able to afford a Scace device and finally get this all figured out. In the mean time, what I REALLY need right now is a Bosch 1250DEVS. I've got an incredible amount of sanding to do

Does PID'd Silvia need a cooling flush?

The display starts at 230 degrees. I start the flush. By the time the steam stops (a few seconds) the temp is down to about 203 degrees. If I wait until the temp gets back to 230 and push the brew button exactly when it hits 230, then I still get about the same amount of
