Roaster Automation - Drum Roaster
Did some more tinkering and bought the Clippard SCPV-1-3 valve and the driver. I modified the existing Arduino code and got it to work. I'll post some pictures and roasts once I dial it in. I hooked up the assembly today and noticed that the max propane flow was reduced from 4.5 kpa to 3.5 kpa when ...

La Marzocco Linea Mini solenoid issue
I ended up opening the machine, taking apart the inlet solenoid, and cleaning it. It appears that the solenoid did not close all the way and the steam boiler was overfilling. I'm back to normal Linea Mini steam

La Marzocco Linea Mini brew boiler overheats the water
I've also had steaming issues since the last update. The steam is very wet, or it does not come up to pressure. I've had my machine for over 5 years and did not experience these issues. I believe the new software has a bug

I've had a Linea Mini for about 5 years and haven't had any major issues with it. However, yesterday morning I noticed that the steam is not as dry as it used to be and it spits out more water than before. My wife also noticed that when the steam boiler is louder when heating up. Any ideas what

Rancilio Silvia - Restauration attempt
I purchased an old and still functional Rancilio Silvia and wanted to replace the badly rusted steel frame. I purchased a stainless steel frame and proceeded to dismantle the old machine; wow, the rust is unbelievable. But that's a different story. In the process, I wanted to remove the boiler screw...
