Great, how do you like it so far? I personally like to raise the lever very slowly using the pressure gauge as a guide for light roasted coffee (I could see the value in slamming the pressure like that for medium to dark roasts to increase body).. have you tried using the gauge in that fashion yet?

Buckeye BC-2 vs Mill City 1kg roaster
I've had my BC-1 for a number of years. Back when I bought it, the BC-1 was much closer in price to the 500gm Mill City then they are now; the Mill City wasn't worth the extra money then and it definitely isn't worth it now, in my opinion at least

Hi, This is the group cap I used {link} Chrome plated brass, super easy to drill and tap. You'll also either need to buy a new copper gasket or take the old one and hold it with a pliers and hit it with a blowtorch until it glows red, then let it cool off slowly

Londinium Compressa
According to John from Decent espresso the coffee puck compresses at 4bar inhibiting effective preinfusion above this pressure. If this is in fact true as his experiments apparently show then there were be not further benefit to preinfusion above 4 bar

Pourover shape and taste?
What are your opinions regarding the tricolate, I haven't seen it discussed much. Shouldn't it be similar to your favorite (the stagg x) but with less bypass?
