Breville Dual Boiler Manual Descaling

Yes. Empty through the drain ports. Fill through the probe openings. Keep track of which probe goes to which wire. Rinse several times with fresh water. Stay safe

Naturally processed med/med-dark roast for lattes

Thanks for this tip. Quick question. Have you had it as a strait espresso? How's the acidity? They use the tasting note, boysenberry. Sometimes boysenberry, blackberry and raspberry are a foil for sour or tart. I'm not looking for sour or tart. Thanks!

Blueberry (or any berry) bomb coffee recommendations?

Yes, I think that's true. They used to be a site sponsor with a banner ad and a discount code. HB20, I just tried it. Didn't work

Breville Dual Boiler Descale

OP, you are right. There are many tales of woe originating from running the descale program and ending with the 3 beeps and a blown thermal fuse on the steam boiler. Probably best to be methodical in your hunting and meticulous in addressing every possible source, lest you enjoy the gurgling! I would start at the pump+OPV joint and make sure everything is sealed up tight and o ...

Scale For Pour-Over?

The heart wants what the heart wants and yours wants a nice scale, so get yourself one. Pish-posh McBob, a fast response time is a nice feature for any scale. I use Acaia scales and Timemore scales at home and work. When I travel I have a 15$ amazon scale, it is slow and laggy and I hate it. A

Breville Dual Boiler ERR3 - is that thermal fuse?

Here's the part at Outwest {link} Maybe you were a little rough with it when you removed it. The insulation on the wires probably gets brittle with it being next to all that heat. Sounds like you are going in there again. You could pull it and give it a test before you buy another. Just a thought
