Those who do not single dose, what is your daily routine?
Do you leave beans in the hopper overnight? Do you just discard the leftovers? I find that I have to have a certain level in my Eureka Atom for it to not popcorn, so after the last shot of the day there will still be a decent amount of coffee in the grinder. With this in mind, wouldn't the beans

Profitec Pro 500 - Why should I NOT get this?
I went with a pro 300 as well. I've noticed several things that I would have designed differently (holes on top of water cover, no rail on cup warmer), but overall its a solid machine at a great price. The inclusion of a PID is what sold it for me. Variable minimization is a top priority for me, as I

Espresso Grinder Advice...
I have had the chute clog before, but I've owned it for the better part of a year and can count the number of times it has happened on one hand. I think it happens due to a mixture of atmospheric humidity and grind particle size. I have the machine dialed in quite well and cant remember the last

Espresso Grinder Advice...
I have a Eureka Atom and would highly recommend it. Its well within your price range, has electronic dosing, looks great (personal preference), is whisper quiet (I can hold a conversation at regular volume while grinding), its quick and produces nice fluffy grounds. Eureka have even improved on some...

Upgrading Mahlkonig Vario to Eureka Atom / Compak e5 / Mazzer Super Jolly electronic
The popcorning effect occurs when the bean level starts getting low in the chute so you will need to adjust your timer if you let the level get low. I usually keep the level slightly below the hopper shutoff, and put about 50g of beans in before each session. I have the timer set around 8 seconds on...

Upgrading Mahlkonig Vario to Eureka Atom / Compak e5 / Mazzer Super Jolly electronic
I've owned a white Atom for a few months now. A few thoughts on the grinder: - Very quiet - Beans get stuck in the hopper due to the hopper sides not being steep enough (probably for height constraints). - Very easy to clean. Only 3 screws on the lid and 3 screws on the top burr

Profitec Pro 300 User Experience
Just curious, what dosing is everyone using? I find that too much over 18g makes the puck stick to the shower head after extraction. 17g seems to be too low in the basket. Might need to adjust grind further. Steaming power is adequate for me, I find im getting about 90 seconds of continual steam bef...
