Getting logged out a lot
I haven't seen it mentioned, but with Safari if you are browsing in PRIVATE mode you will not be auto logged on and it will seem like you're always being logged out. Don't use PRIVATE browsing and see if that fixes things after you logon

Izzo Alex Duetto II Pump Motor Replacement
If you do a Google search for "alex dueto ii motor replacement" one of the top listings will be linked to Clive Coffee who has various instructions on their repair. They specifically have an article on how to replace the pump, which if you do that, will get you most of the way towards replacing the ...

How were these beans roasted?
Yes, I think this roast was given the sugar treatment. Found it as Torrefacto style roasting. As I started going finer and finer with my grind, I think the sugars gummed up my grinder cause I had to back my grinder way off in order for it to pass anything, which cleaned the burrs somewhat and then a...

How were these beans roasted?
I just grabbed a few beans and rubbed their outer surface. Some bits and skin came off to the point where I recognized a proper bean shape and a proper dull brown color (not glossy). So I think you're right that they weren't pulped completely. Interesting

How were these beans roasted?
Wife came back from a treking in Peru. She brought back roasted beans from a stay at a lodge in a coffee growing area. Her group was given a demo of bean roasting in a clay pot but I can't say the beans she bought at their gift shop were roasted that way. The roasted beans are very

Gaggia Evolution electrical leakage from heating element
Can you give a better description of what you mean by "now there is electricity on the boiler". Are you getting shocked? Are you using a voltmeter and measuring voltage from the boiler housing to ground? If you're using a voltmeter to detect the electricity, did you perform the exact same measuremen...

Can I improve my grinder's drop performance
Thanks all. Seems like the RDT has had some amazing results. I'll definitely try that. I do have a pretty good air pump effect from my feed bin cover. It's a large diameter (6 inch) and a perfect to the feed bin. I palm it, one handed, lifting it at its front edge about an inch

Can I improve my grinder's drop performance
I have a grinder (T-80 modified for doserless use) that's hit or miss as to how much of each batch makes it into the portafilter. Grind seem to want to "cling" to various portions of my chute system. I do a lot of banging and slapping to try and get every bit of grind to come out.

JBC Roasters
My son took a driving trip around the country and came back with a bag of the JBC Ethiopian shown in your photo as a gift. An all Ethiopian shot was really nasty however when I blended 40% with some home roasted Honduran, it really complemented those Central American beans and rounded out the cup ve...
