As someone who recently got a pro 800, i am very interested in this machine and reading more about user views. Seems like no fuss, efficient, and modern machine. A bit cheaper, smaller footprint, and ability to tune the on puck temp are all very big pros

Profitec Pro 800 temperature stability in V2
I think i am having some issue when i do multiple shots... I did three shots yesterday maybe 3-5mins between each and temperature went up few degrees between first and second and also between second and third shot. Ambient was: 70.7F PID at 250. Question about IMS baskets, Shape Vs Height Vs Dose Weight
Further information, i was trying a different coffee and i could not secure the portafilter on the pro800 at all (with my flair 58 puck screen), what i found is that the shower screen sits much closer below/inside the basket on the pro800 (4mm from showerscreen to lip of grouphead) (bosco grouphead)...

That is the one i ordered! I think during pre-infusion, the e&b one maybe beneficial as water will disperse evenly through the screen. I am not certain if using a puck screen would reduce the benefits or not, maybe a project for a different day. My current one is: {image}
