[SOLD] Cafe Roasto Coffee Roaster

This is a 'modded' Cafe Roasto which was used for profiling and learning of how to roast coffee. This is a great little fluid bed roaster with more capacity than a Fresh Roast and has much more control over temperature. One plug turns on the fan and the other controls the heating element. There is a...

Vetranto 2B Wont Start - Internals Photos?

A slow drip/sputtering developed in my Vetrano 2B. I understood that the OPV (over pressure valve) might have some scale build up. So, I removed the case to soak the OPV to remove any scale. During the process, I removed the electrical connections for the power switches. I numbered them and thought ...

Is anyone still roasting with the RK Drum Roaster

Yes. Rapid heat control can be a bit of a challenge. I set up a thermocouple to get good temp readings and controlled heat with the flame height. It is a bit like steering a ship vs. turning in a sport car. I've gotten excellent results for years though and have been very happy with the

Cloudy Boiler Water in Quickmill Vetrano 2B

Oh that's an interesting idea that I hadn't thought of. I haven't recharged the softener for 9 months. However, it is possible that it's been leaching calcium for a long time. The flavor of the water seems fine. I just don't want to end up with lead poisoning

Wanted: long term reliability reports

Hi have a Vetrano 2B. It replaced a Vivaldi II. Both machines are very reliable. I got the Vetrano 2B because I liked the look, and the 58MM portafilter, and the temperature gauge and control. However, if I had to choose, I'd go back to the Vivaldi II. Both are excellent machines, but the

Is anyone still roasting with the RK Drum Roaster

I have owned many roasters over the years starting with popcorn poppers, Café Rosto, Original Behmor, and the RK Roasting Drum. I love the RK drum and set up a weber grill specifically for roasting on it. The challenge I have faced is that it is a bit of an ordeal to roast...pull out the roaster, se...

Cloudy Boiler Water in Quickmill Vetrano 2B

Plumbed in. I don't think it could be milk contamination because I've flushed the tank several times to confirm. I'm stumped!

Baratza Sette 270 quality issues been resolved yet?

I just purchased a 270W to replace my Mazzer Mini. The volume is pretty consistent with the Mazzer Mini. Not too bad at all...particularly given the speed of the grind
