Dual Group Espresso Machine for Home Use
Are commercial multi-group machines typically discouraged for home use? I love the look of them, but I thought I remember seeing people saying that they don't perform well if they are only pulling a handful of shots per day

CLF CFF - Clear Coffee
Has anyone tried this coffee? I can't imagine it can taste like regular coffee. Any thoughts on what processing they could do in order to safely remove the color? {link}

Show off your barista skills: Latte Art
I picked up my first espresso machine (Vetrano 2B) in December. It took me about a month to get the first visible latte art pattern. January 23, 2017 {image} It took a few months and a lot of complaining about the machine not being good enough (which is clearly not true) before it started to click. I

Difference in texture and mouth feel?
I'm going to guess that the NYC shops used whole milk and your local shop is using 2%. Try asking your local shop to use whole milk for your next drink and see what you think

Espresso Machine Prep for Vacation
What kind of preparation is needed to leave an espresso machine unused for a week? I have a Quick Mill V2B that is plumbed. I plan to unplug the machine and turn off the water supply valve, but should I drain the boilers before leaving? Should I drain the boilers after returning to get fresh water? ...

Microfoam too thick or too thin...
Some of those shots appear to have almost no crema at all. Are you pouring the latte art immediately after making the shot? I don't think that is the primary issue, but it is worth asking because you need crema for good latte art. As for the milk, I think it is often too thick in those attempts

Frothing Pitcher: The Significance of Size (on the finished product)
Can anyone point to a good video that shows this vertical roll on a prosumer espresso machine that doesn't have the power for the circular swirl? I have never been able to successfully pull off the vertical roll, but maybe I am expecting it to look different on the surface than it actually should

White Sediment/Film After Softener/Filter Install
Thanks for the info. Maybe the film is just bubbles from the air in the filter as well. It does all dissipate and the water looks clear within 15-20 seconds, including what I called a film on top of the water. I will keep using it and see what it looks like in a few weeks. Thanks again!

White Sediment/Film After Softener/Filter Install
I finally got around to plumbing in my machine with the Chris Coffee water softening and filtration system. I flushed about 3 gallons of water through the system before running any water to my machine. But, when I pull the water through the group into a clear glass, it appears slightly cloudy at fir...

Where to buy distinctive cappuccino cups?
The Ancap Verona line has 16.2 oz jumbo latte cups. I have the 11.8 oz regular latte ones, but have recently switched to smaller 8 oz cups so I can taste more of the coffee. Prime Coffee carries them in plain white and may have other colored options. {link}
