Cannot Remove Top Burr Carrier - Compak K10 Fresh
Wasn't able to fix this grinder on my own. Anybody know of someone in or near NYC that might be able to repair this? I called Compak (located in New Jersey) a little while back and they said they wouldn't be able to service it. They could direct me to someone that would "cut the burr carrier out"

Cannot Remove Top Burr Carrier - Compak K10 Fresh
I have not screwed the burrs together... I can very obviously see that they are much farther apart compared to before (espresso grind). Also, the whole burr carrier is farther up or you could say it is almost out. Let's just say... if grinder's had settings written on - espresso, pour over, french p...

Cannot Remove Top Burr Carrier - Compak K10 Fresh
Hi, Several months ago I bought a used Compak K10 Fresh for $750 from a cafe in Brooklyn. It was working pretty great, but I had ordered a Sette 270 to take up less counter space (and to use something with a bit less retention). Since I switched to the Sette, this Compak has been in the

Grinder Epiphany with the Baratza Sette 270
One possibility could be that the burrs need to be seasoned a bit? I don't have my sette yet, but I have a couple pounds of old coffee ready for seasoning. (I'm not sure if a couple pounds would be enough, but I figure it's better than nothing.)

Grinder Epiphany with the Baratza Sette 270
Are you stopping your shots at blonding, or at a specific number of seconds maybe? It would probably be easier to decipher if you stop your shots at the same weight every time and see exactly how much variance there is with time

Should There Be a Dispersion Screw in my Expobar Brewtus Grouphead?
Hmmm... any ideas why I might be getting frequent dead spots in the center? Also, pressure on my machine is dropping 1-2 bars for the last 5-10 seconds of each shot. (Although this might be a separate issue)

Should There Be a Dispersion Screw in my Expobar Brewtus Grouphead?
Hi there, First-time poster here. I have an Expobar Brewtus IV-V and I am wondering if I am missing a part in my grouphead? (Sorry it is a bit dirty right now) {image} Is this how it is supposed to look? I cannot find any other pictures online that look like this under the shower screen! I've
