[SOLD] Synesso Cyncra Single Group 220V
I purchased this machine from a forum member here in 2020 - DucaiMann. It has a needle valve installed in addition to a shot timer. You can search the forums and see - he did a restoration of this machine with new heaters and was quite thorough. I bought it with intention of beginning small coffee s...

Mexico Chiapas, Klein & Schnippenkoetter
Been roasting Chiapas all summer on 1kg MCR. Trying to tune it in but I'm travelling alot more quickly than you are in post 1C RoR. I typically drop 18-22 degrees after 1C and try to get there in around 1:40-1:50. Total roasts time around 11-11:30

Roasting startup
I'm trying to get a small roaster operation off the ground in northern MN. One reason is my passion for fresh, well-roasted coffee, but also to provide good paying jobs to the local community. I need taste testers with some ability to provide me meaningful feedback. I would like to roast a few diffe...

[SOLD] Nuova Simonelli Oscar II (back fill)
I believe this was running for ~ 2 years but I cannot seem to find original receipt at this time. I always ran softened RO water with mineral replacement and backflushed routinely with cafiza every couple weeks. I have some extras that will go with it like a bottomless PF from NS. I upgraded to a pl...

Thermocouple calibration
Got it. Changed the BT to read +30 and makes entirely more sense now that 1C is not at 365. TY and it was incredibly easy to do

Thermocouple calibration
Hello All, I've come full circle from drip coffee to espresso and now starting to roast. I've got a mill city 1kg. I was talking to another forum member about his 2kg and he mentioned changing the formula or calibration of the thermocouples to reflect that first crack should probably happen around 3...

Help with extreme channeling
I have always had difficulty with distribution and channeling. I bought a Pullman basket and tamper - this eliminated a significant amount of room for error in my espresso making and brought back a lot of enjoyment. The next upgrade was from a ceado e5p to a EK43 which made leaps of improvements

Recently unable to dial in any decent espresso - NS Oscar II
The beans were fresh. I had multiple bags of fresh beans with terrible results. I have a typical range that I prefer around 1:1.5 ratio in ~30 seconds. Cleaned and adjusted opv on the oscar 2. Ultimately - I believe my burrs are due for replacing with many visible chips. In the meantime I used the d...
