[SOLD] Lelit Mara HX espresso machine
Below is a four year old Lelit Mara PL62S for sale. I just upgraded to a La Marzocco Linea Mini so this machine needs a new home. The Mara is a compact HX machine so it would be perfect for anyone with limited counter space or for a second location. The Mara is well cared for and in good

Espresso machines at work
I'll have to inquire about this. I keep finding myself watching coworkers use the machine. I've mentioned simple stuff like purging the steam wand after use/flushing the group a few times... people are gonna start hating me!

Traditional espresso suggestion
I agree that Caffe Lusso's Gran Miscela should fit the bill. My wife is not a fan of coffees with blueberry notes (e.g. Counter Culture Hologram) so Gran Miscela's chocolate, nut and caramel notes were perfect

Espresso machines at work
That sounds like a much more manageable situation. We have an office of 200 or so and no one drinks straight shots. And on top of that, the Mazzer is also used for pour over. We had a barista come in for some basic training but I think it was focused on making coffee and steaming milk. He

Does anyone have access to a semi-automatic espresso machine at work? I just started a new job and my employer has an Expobar Brewtus/Mazzer Mini E. No one in the office knows anything about espresso machine maintenance and I don't want to be the "espresso machine guy". The machines and area are alw...

Questions regarding freezing coffee beans
I vacuum seal 6oz of coffee in FoodSaver bags. And I wait a couple hours to open the bag and grind after taking it out of the freezer. Looks like what I'm doing is overkill?

Any supermarket coffee beans worth getting for espresso?
My Whole Foods (in Long Island, NY) carries quite a few coffees from well known roasters such as Stumptown, Irving Farms, Cafe Grumpy, etc. But the issue is usually that the roast dates are not very good. Still worth a try though

Anyone pull Counter Culture Apollo recently
Thank you for the recommendation! How would you adjust this recipe if you didn't have the ability to control pressure? I have a Linea Mini running off the tank

Anyone pull Counter Culture Apollo recently
I've been having a bit of trouble dialing in with this batch and was wondering what brew parameters folks are using. My parameters are 17g in, 34g - 36g out in 30 seconds at 203F. This ends up a bit bolder than I would like with tea notes. I'm not getting much sweetness. Previously I was using a lon...
