Looking for a good single serve coffee machine

That's the one I bought my daughter when she went to college (she's in her 4th year now). She used it for three years with no complaints, but then she was going overseas for a few weeks last summer and the apartment where she was staying came with an electric kettle. So we got her a Clever to take w...

Millab Grinder ("Powered by Timemore")

Has anyone read about this grinder? In some spots it suggests it's affiliated in some way with Timemore. {link} {link} (Edited: Fixed the link, but it's super slow to load) Unboxing:{video}The last time I was interested in a grinder like this, it was on Kickstarter, and folks here thought it was sus...

Cream and curdling in my coffee

Not exactly. When I add the coffee to the cream that's already in the cup, I do so all at once (the idea had been to disperse the cream without having to stir). I haven't tried adding the coffee slowly and stirring as I add, but that's next on my experiments

Cream and curdling in my coffee

Yeah, yeah, I know ... cream is the devil when it comes to coffee. But sometimes, we need a little devilishness in our lives. Anyway, I've had my cream curdle in my coffee, usually when the cream is a little old (say it's been open for more than a week which makes sense, as

COFFEEJACK - it's actually good, but there's one 1 important thing to get results!

... And the unit broke on my third shot. One of the bayonet mounts on the bottom of the unit broke (on the main unit, not on the portafilter). {image} I did have difficulty getting it locked on the first time and it made something of a mess leaking around the portafilter. The second time

COFFEEJACK - it's actually good, but there's one 1 important thing to get results!

Ok, I've pulled a couple of shots and the first was kind of terrible, and the second was OK. I live at about 1200 feet elevation, and water boils at 210 degrees where I am, if that's important. I'm thinking of making a neoprene sleeve for the top of the coffeejack to preserve the temperatures in the...

COFFEEJACK - it's actually good, but there's one 1 important thing to get results!

Further experimentation: My Flair PRO Dispersion Screen (item# 691034822463) fits pretty well, so I may use it on top of the puck. I don't have the Flair Pro machine, but I do have the dispersion screen because it fits perfectly in the bottom of the Stagg Brewer (and prevents the filter from gluing ...

COFFEEJACK - it's actually good, but there's one 1 important thing to get results!

I tried the little funnel that came with my Stagg Brewer, and it fits surprisingly well. {image} There is very little play between the funnel and the Coffeejack cartridge (or whatever it's called). Like less play than the bespoke tamper has when in use (as demonstrated in the JH video)

COFFEEJACK - it's actually good, but there's one 1 important thing to get results!

I don't happen to own a tamper, and the only accessory that I got with my Coffeejack was the stand. So wondering if a 45 mm tamper will fit. I don't want to wait until they make them available on their website

COFFEEJACK tamper - what size?

I finally got my Coffeejack Kickstarter in the mail, and it seems I need a tamper. I don't know where my calipers are, so wondering if anyone knows what size I should order? Eventually, I can order one from their website (ordering isn't up and going yet) but I don't want to pay international shippin...
