Lance Hedrick's Odyssey Argos review
Seems pretty obvious that the Argos is not going to be everything to everyone, but that is true for all machines. Even the Decent has significant drawbacks to some. Looks like it hits the sweet spot for smaller/regular volume shots and possibly for medium to darker roasts

Converting original Londinium I to an HX
Anyone have knowledge of doing this conversion? I think I've seen it once before on a youtube video so I know it can be done. There's an HX boiler on buy/sell right now and I was thinking of trying to do this. I know it would result in a plumb in only situation which would be fine

I would expect once they have their process ironed out they will start adding more staff. Especially if there continues to be interest and orders coming in. It is in the best interest of the business. Otherwise for the sheer wait time people will start cancelling their orders

I don't think extrapolating the current ship rate is the right move. They are working out the kinks in manufacturing and qc. I assume as things gets worked out the ship rate will rise exponentially. So it may be 2 units/day now, 4 units/day next week, 10 units/day next month, 30 units/day 2months fr...

Can anyone comment about the robustness of the electronics that run the temperature control software? Given that there is not any other way for the machine to manage temperature if that gives out it would render the machine unusable

Late channeling on Londinium L1
I'm seeing it across the board with all coffees. I don't think I've cleaned the grinder since this started. probably a good idea to do anyway, but not sure how that would help

Late channeling on Londinium L1
Unfortunately I don't have a Scace or similar device to measure temperature and pressure. I thought maybe the seals were failing, causing fluctuation in pressure, but I've since changed the seals twice

Late channeling on Londinium L1
I've been having a strange issue that hopefully someone can help me with. I've had this L1 for a year or so, and initially worked well and I was pulling really great shots, best shots of my humble home barista life. The lever hype was real for me. Then I had a thermosyphon issue, and

Londinium thermosyphon stall on cold start
Just to update this thread, currently all is well with my L1. It warms up every morning now for the past week or two. I replaced the seals and greased the sleeve well, and don't have the late channeling issue anymore. In fact, shots are pulling better than ever before, so maybe it was just due for new
