BIANCA: Order this game changer home espresso machine...
Hi all! looks like Lelit has tried to hit one out of the park. The data is impressive, I haven't looked at the price yet. Another machine to start a debate on it's merits

Olympia Cremina 2011 grouphead gasket change - how to avoid damaging it
OK all you Cremina lever heads out there, how does one remove the group gasket so it can be replaced. I don't want to save the old gasket. I've tried an ice pick, Xacto knife, screwdriver, etc. but no dice. I lost my rotary tool in the move here. Any suggestions??? Thanks in advance!! Edit: I'm abou...

My Olympia Cremina & ungrade-itis
I tend to agree with the statement that the Cremina is all I ever want or need. It introduced me to flavors I was never able to achieve with a pump machine. I only wish the boiler was a bit larger or I was able to fill it from the water mains for perfection. A larger drip tray would also

Which entry level twin boiler espresso machine?
+1 all of the above. I started with the baby twin. Very bitter espresso. Gave it to my kids. Next got the BDB machine, had some mechanical problems after about a year, Breville fixed w/o any hassle. Couldn't get a taste I liked from any of the above. Listening to many people about lever machines, ev...

Drier steam at 20 amps???
What has likely happened, is that due to the higher current feeding the boiler it has reached operating temp sooner so the rest of the machine has warmed also warmed up sooner. All this doesn't reduce the heat of the steam generated thus keeping it drier

Single hole Olympia Cremina steam tip
Steaming on Cremina has been problematic especially with the standard old 4 hole tip. Got the new steam wand with the removable 4 hole tip, very minor improvement. The angle of the holes with the axis of the wand slightly less. Saw the post about single hole replaceable tip and bought it. WOW. Vast ...

Seattle Coffee Gear or Whole Latte Love?
I've dealt with all three. Nothing but excellent service from SCG and Chris. My first order from WLL, they temporarily lost my payment but eventually found it. I have been leery of them ever since so I haven't dealt with them ever since

My first lever- the journey begins
I hope you experience the same improvement in the cup that I did when i switched to my Cremina. I finally was able to detect flavors and notes that my 58mm machine was not giving me. There is a marked improvement in the reduction and/or elimination in channeling, there isn't any. It slso reduced the...

Stretching & texturing milk w/ Olympia Cremina
Still thrilled with my Cremina. Also still having trouble steaming milk. Seem to be able to stretch the milk but can't texture. Not very certain of the temps, using the OE temp strips the group gets to 75 F, I was able to get nice microfoam w/ my BDB but no such luck on the Cremina. When I
