Dispersion Screen for Enrico Italianstyle - Options?

I finally popped my screen out. It's 62mm. Simon, my piston doesn't look like yours. It's made out of the same cheap metal but there's no rivet. Brett

Crying Over Spilt Milk

I started using a bidding program after I won a pair of speakers on eBay (Marantz Imperial 8's for the curious). They were local so I figured I could save the monstrous shipping costs and pick them up. I placed a proxy bid and went to work. Meanwhile, one guy bid 32 times while I was at work. He did...

Crying Over Spilt Milk

For eBay I use an automated bidding program. I've been using Auctionsniper.com for the last few years and have had no complaints. It works similar to eBay's proxy bidding system except you give Auctionsniper your max amount and they bid for you in the last few seconds of the auction. If somebody has...

Dispersion Screen for Enrico Italianstyle - Options?

Richard, I think he's missing the screen. I'll pop mine off this weekend and measure it. It looks exactly like yours. I think the screens for the spring and manual groups were the same but I'll measure it to be sure. Brett

La Riviera Refurb

That is interesting- filling the boiler at the press of a button. I wonder it if it really worked as advertised. The theory seems sound but I can see it not working out so well in practice. I fill my machines manually with a pitcher of filtered water I keep at the ready. Hooking up a water fill valv...

La Riviera Refurb

Interesting and quite informative post. Maybe I'll give mine another chance. I honestly did not know that the button on the top of the base next to the water inlet was part of the water inlet. Seems self intuitive but it eluded me

Dispersion Screen for Enrico Italianstyle - Options?

Simon, Is that a spring lever or a manual lever model? I have a parts group for the manual lever which, sadly, has no dispersion screen. I have a spring lever that I'll be rebuilding in the next month or two. While it's down I'd be willing to send the dispersion screen out to someone to make a pattern

Riviera espresso lever machine

Koen, Mine had/has faulty seals in its group. I never could get the pressure stable enough. I've been working on other machines of mine before I get into the Riviera. Personally, I don't think 1.5 at the boiler is too high but I'm sure opinions differ on that issue. The Riveria has been discussed he...

Riviera espresso lever machine

That's a Riviera Eagle. Zacconi currently manufactures a very similar machine with little or no parts interchange. The new ones cost well over $1000 usd so yours is well worth the price you paid. I have the same model with brass accents. I rarely see those machines with the eagle still on them. I as...

Enrico Italianstyle CE 12 owners chime in

Doug, I suspected as much. That really clears things up for me though. I have a spare piston for the machine which I believe was from the machine you parted out. Small world. Between the two pistons I should be able to figure something out sooner or later. Brett Schultz
