Kafatek Monolith Flat Burr Alignment

Kafatek Monolith Flat Burr Alignment
You would need to show pics of both burrs (in their entirely) to infer results (use a light touch when testing). You're looking for an even wear amount in depth, size and location in the marking fluid/ink on both burrs. There are many ways things can be out of alignment, and often there can be multi...

Cool story. Hopefully you weren't on a civilian flight home. As for the ultrasonics, I'm surprised they aren't more popular with hobbyists. They offer great bang for the buck (pun intended)

Commercial use. On commercial machines I've heard it suggested you backflush with water every 4hrs, or every 400 shots to help keep the 3 way solenoidvalve clean. Then chemical backflush at the end of the day to both clean the 3way valve and oils which build and can cake on. For home use we wont see...

Can you use pressurestat just like PID?
A similar temp? Yes, the temperatures will be similar. It's more about how much of a temperature range you consider acceptable. Your final brew temp will depend on a few things, your HX flush routine and the machine/group you're using. HX flush routine: These have been discussed in detail here, so I...

I meant an ultrasonic cleaner. They work wonders for cleaning fine parts with tough grime. I use it for eye glasses, watch bracelets, my wife's rings and jewellery, misc parts, etc.. Even the entry level amazon ones ($40 bucks) do alight with just clean warm water and a mild soap. Just don't over do...
