Drain valve water blast and Acaia Lunar

Search for USB-C port covers on Amazon or your favorite shopping site. It's what I did to protect the port. Example: {link} It won't help with splashing up under the rear of the scale, but it's a neater way to keep the port safe

Acaia Lunar - defective display protector?

Is is not just a shipping protector. I'm not sure if they still include them, but with the original Lunar release, Acaia included 3 protective strips to be applied over the control area of the scale. They all bubble like that. Eventually I think mine settled down. I still have 2 of the 3 strips left...

Acaia Lunar flow mode

Not sure what you mean... the original has the flow mode feature. {link} Unless perhaps you're referring to the flow rate indicator in the 2021 model?

Acaia Lunar flow mode

Have you updated the firmware? Pretty old at this point but maybe yours had an older version installed. {link} On mine, the timer and flow detection is fairly spot-on and immediate

Bought a used Mahlkonig Peak, problem with calibration

This is a fairly bold statement, and to others reading, probably not categorically indicative of Mahlkonig grinders. Perhaps the part of your statement regarding used grinders since you may not know the history, but I think thousands of installs around the world say otherwise of the "design"

Pre-infusion on reservoir fed E61 machines?

Moving from a home with high water pressure (75psi, reduced with a valve to my machine) I have not yet plumbed my Duetto 3 at the new house. I'm able to pre-infuse as well as when the machine was plumbed, in fact a bit more gentle due to lower pressure. As @Nunas states, I too think it's because the...

Mahlkonig Peak new owner questions

This is why I'm ecstatic to have my Gen 1 PEAK with the 2-position switch and no temperature logic. As a home user I will rarely, if ever need or use the fan. You may want to inquire whether you can simply unplug the fan internally without causing any issues. My guess is that you can
