Do I have to build my own roaster ?

Rkdrums.com might be worth looking at. I've never used one but it looks like it would be a good value

Talk to me about the La Spaziale Mini Vivaldi...

I upgraded from the Gaggia Classic to the Lucca A53 (Mini Vivaldi with some small changes). I was pretty happy with the espresso that I was making with the Gaggia and when I switched a few months ago I was a little disappointed in the results. However, after learning how to dial in the new machine t...

Grinder upgrade - Baratza Sette 270 vs Mazzer Super Jolly

I recently moved from a Super Jolly doser to a refurbished Sette 270. The Sette may not last as long but the workflow is much easier and the grind quality is as good in my opinion. I have reduced the amount of time and effort it takes to pull a shot so even if the Sette only lasts

IMS screen installation - Dalla Corte (sp200 im)

The larger screen fits perfectly on the La Spaziale block, I am not sure how that would work on the Dalla Corte, and then the smaller one is centered by the bolt. IMS' website lists three different shower screens for Dalla Corte machines. Assuming you have the right one(s) I would align the screens ...

IMS screen installation - Dalla Corte (sp200 im)

Those look like the set I just installed on my La Spaziale Mini Vivaldi. Assuming that is the appropriate set for your machine (check with IMS) then the large screen goes closest to the brass block and the smaller screen goes over the larger one. Essentially the way you have them stacked in the last...

Eureka Mignon Silenzio/Perfetto/Specialita' (2018)

In my experiences with importation through a courier (though never directly through this vendor), the bill for duty and fees usually comes in the mail about a week after delivery. I'm not saying this is the case for you, just don't be shocked if you receive an invoice and make sure to edit your post...

How often do you get stale coffee?

So what was their reply to your complaint? Surely you didn't bother typing all of that out here on a forum where you will get no results, without contacting the roaster

Salty Sumatra

I had a very similar experience with a Mandheling sent to me by another home roaster during a coffee swap. Here is a copy of the review I submitted: "Objective - uneven size, somewhat uneven roast, slightly oily, some divots Subjective - the aroma was straightforward chocolate masking a fruit in the...
