Moka pot question about the amount of coffee in the filter basket
It's just a cold that became a cough. I'm doing better though. No video needed. Once you get the hang of it, this will be easy. From what you have written, use a coarser grind to get more flow. Also, your grinder might produce fines that help create resistance for your espresso machine, but produce more dust than you

User Experience with the Strietman CT2
I owned a Robot. The quality and consistency of shot, improvement in workflow, and overall experience is not even comparable. The CT2 stands in a class of its own sitting above the Robot. If you have the budget for a CT2, its a significant upgrade compared to the Robot

Casadio Undici A1 pump not turning on
Sounds like at least the computer is working. None of the control buttons do anything? I usually (with the power off) check the connector to the control pad and remove and reseat it. Sometimes I have found loose/corroded connections. I usually try and turn the pump by hand if you can get to it sometimes they are stuck

Moka pot question about the amount of coffee in the filter basket
Thanks, by the way, don't reply to me over taking care of yourself. I haven't even made coffee yet this morning, and it's past noon, because frankly, I just can't summon the motivation to make it and end up tasting something else that didn't work. It's freaking coffee, it shouldn't have to be this damned complicated

Moccamaster user
Note that this is only(AFAIK) for the "Select" models, which have a switch with half- and full- coffee pot icons. IIRC, other models have a high/low switch for the hotplate and the electric switch has half- and full-filled circle icons. In addition, some models - but not the "Select" - have a manual adjuster on the cone itself

What are they doing here?
True. I thought it looked like corn. But definitely not coffee, unless perhaps it is still in parchment. But I don't see the line across any of the beans

What are they doing here?
That's what I was thinking too. I wonder why the beans being in there would make it appear orange? Yes, it does look like the (probably canned) baked beans served as part of a standard breakfast in the U.K. or Australia, along with a slice of cooked tomato and some mushrooms, and one or more breakfast meats ("Big Brekkie")

Gaggia Classic pulling too slowly
I purchased a Gaggia Classic from Facebook Marketplace. Replaced the gasket for good measure, added a brass dispersion plate, added an IMS screen, and added the Barista Gadgets PID mod. Also switched to bottomless portafilter with IMS basket. Dialed in both a light roast and a medium roast decaf. The shots were tasty, at a nice temp, and pulling within
