Quickmill Vetrano fittings

At this point, since you already cut the original pipe, maybe replace the boiler fittings to fit with the new pipe should be an option.

Got this mexican-made lever machine, any thoughts?

Ah nuts that is unfortunate. Make a list of the damages and hopefully each part can be fixed without too much hassle. What specifically was found to be damage? The group is not like the normal Carimali group. The linked kaffee-netz thread has the Carimali group undeneath the group cover if you want to see the difference. I think a...

Wife loves Keurig for ease of use, bought her a new one and gives off plastic smell and taste. Need alternative.

I'm going to go against the grain here and suggest this: {link} Like a keurig, you make a mug at a time and it's dead simple to operate. I haven't used mine for years (I think it's still buried in the closet) but I remember it making reasonably decent coffee. I have a technivorm, and used it for many years...

Another option is the Oxo, which {video} considered to be a good value at US$210. (I have not tried one personally.)

Electricity vs gas roaster - Batch size 500g

Assuming that you have both electric and gas available to you, my recommendation is to not narrow your field of choices based on that. Pick the roaster that fits your needs best. In other words, there's a bigger difference between a quest m3 and an aillio bullet than there is between a gas north roaster and an electric north roaster.

Olympia cremina repair help!

Hmm, if you look into the boiler do you see a metal dipper tube going from the group head down into the water in the boiler? The heater heats the water and the vapor pressurizes the boiler that will then force water into the group when you lift the lever through the dipper tube. Without the dipper tube, the group...
