Option-O Lagom 01 Discussion

Has anyone received an update from Option -O after their recent letter or seen their status changed from "Pending?" They mentioned a 3 or 4-week delay in their letter. It will be 3 weeks come this Wednesday. My status is still pending, but I'd love to hear if anyone else has seen an update on their side or

PID settings lost

You could try writing down all the settings, reset the PID to default and then re-enter your settings. Manual here: "BA_ECM_Controvento_02.2014"

ECM Giotto water flow is uneven

1.1Bar constant in the boiler sounds fine. 96 on the head thermometer sounds fine, if it jumps 1 degree when the brew valve opens, that's the HX water flashing to steam with the pressure release, you'll want to let the flush run until there are no steam bubbles on the showerface, shut the brew valve, then lock in the

Olympia Cremina lever questions after group gasket replacement

That's totally normal. The Cremina and Pavoni groups both have a pressurized water on the top of the pistons that assist with pressing down. With coffee in the portafilter, the pressure from the group on the bottom of the piston is higher than the pressure up top, so you will need to apply pressure to lower the piston
