Flair 58

There was some earlier discussion of engineering and manufacturing choices that brought up interesting points. They seem to be ones that prospective buyers may wish to evaluate and take into consideration. However, the discussion seems to be drifting away from being productive and enlightening. While on "cooldown", please take a bit of time to consider how further discussion can be...

New Ikawa Home Roaster - 100g capacity

I was seriously considering ordering before the deadline to receive the advanced app functionality expired. Forcing me to a subscription model changes my purchase interest to a hard no. I have a Cormorant and no interest in a crippled fluid bed machine.

Lagom P64 Flat (Option-O)

I agree with the comments of Entreri and cypz. You would likely be very happy with a Niche Zero. The 63mm Kony burrs are very forgiving and produce a nice espresso with a good balance of flavors, sweetness and mouthfeel. If you go with a Lagom P64, the High Uniformity burrs seem like a good fit. Olympia Cremina - Need help, broken dipper tube

{image} All done, first few coffee made, lot to learn with first lever mashine. I have painted the asbestos insulation on boiler with heat resistant paint to prevent dusting. Cleaned SS panels, brushed face plate, polished rods and linkage.... I have to change piston seals as old piston just poped in grouphead with no resistance and it leaks slowly as...

New Ikawa Home Roaster - 100g capacity

Yep. Seems like it would have been smart to let the early adopters use all the functionality. As it stands now, will be interesting to see if the updated basic roast editor allows enough control to satisfy home users.

Odyssey Espresso (Argos Lever prototype)

^^^ Well, some news is better than no news. But geeze, that thing look tiny. Still, I'm crossing my fingers and hoping to die that the Argos will be a Cremina beater.
