Lelit Bianca User Experience
Thanks everyone for all the great info on this thread. Just received my Bianca V3 on Saturday. Set it up, pulled three shots and it's was fabulous. Really thought it would take awhile to get decent shots. I adjusted the flow paddle to get the full range from off to on. Still waiting for my

Moka pot question about the amount of coffee in the filter basket
What actually killed the person? Do you have a link? I was thinking the same thing. What you are describing is overextraction and that can be due to a combination of too fine a grind, too much time, and/or too high a temperature. The brewing in a moka pot actually begins pretty early in the process as the

Domobar Jr Hx Temperatures
Now all you need is a friend with a machine shop so you can tap into the group head for a thermal sensor and keep the manometer in the now-usual place. Somehow I don't think the E61 designers thought of that hole as anything other than a manufacturing necessity

Weber EG-1 noises on fine grind settings
I think that a potentially significant distinction between WW and Kafatek is that Kafatek seems to be essentially a one man operation, and is based in the US (which is may important for US based customers). My understanding is that some finishing is out sourced, but the design machining and assembly is all done by Denis. If you have an

I almost bought a Mara-X but Jim at 1st-line talked me out of it for other reasons. I'm happy with the VBM, within a day I'm enjoying the best espresso I've ever had. But alas, I'm an electrical engineer (rf) and will reliably obsess over small details such as this. I'd quite like to find something to work on as

What are they doing here?
So you're betting on this coffee roaster shooting video of glasses full of baked beans or corn instead of coffee? I'm going to go with lighting and a fuzzy focus. Plus it seems that beans are more likely to float belly up. Here's the "webpage with the video", for context. Here's just the video (the beans show

Moving from Mignon Specialita to Ceado e37s or Atom 75
I think that price is very good. The red speed, from my understanding is a longevity thing, which, for me, is not worth it honestly. Based on how many drinks you make, the regular burrs, will last you probably close to 10 years anyways. Red speed is probably lifetime. If you do large groups and make

Moving from Mignon Specialita to Ceado e37s or Atom 75
The Atom 75 burrs, if "Mythos-like" in your market, are a step up from the 55 mm Eureka burrs. The Mythos burrs were considered to be top-notch burrs for traditional espresso. If you're staying with traditional espresso and traditional burrs, my opinion is that the big changes past the 55 mm Eureka grinders will be on the counter, not
