PI on the Livia simply means (to me!) turning on your pump for 3 seconds, shutting it off and then waiting 6 seconds and then turning pump on again for the pull. (I have not experimented with different timings) It is a crude PI compared to the steam boiler assist that the Elizabeth does, but I believe it is all

Huky IR burner issue

Ya, that's basically what I did - put a vacuum up to each inlet after unbolting the bowl from the rest of the chassis. Those two inlets (inner and outer ring) are both spotless. I'll take a closer look, there's a couple venturis right there at the inlets, perhaps there's something in there that's messing with the air/fuel mixture

Huky IR burner issue

You can NOT dissasemble the cermic burner surface from the aluminum bowl, but you can unbolt the bowl from the burner chassis , undo the nozzle and inspect/clean the bowl from there. I bought a replacement bowl from Mr Li because the ceramics were shot

What coffee roaster table should I buy? Needs to hold at least 400lb

Something to consider is if you are commercial or not. If not then you have a wide option, if so then I'd likely stick to stainless for the top surface. I see stainless prep tables very cheap on craigslist/marketplace from restaurants all the time

I'm going to try pre infusion this week. Just assumed it wasn't possible on the livia 90. Any other pasquini tips you have?

I am surprised you are not getting sour shots but if it works for you, keep doing it!!!!! I have not done a good pre-infusion or non- test. I do notice that my grind would be much different if I did not do pre-infusion - that is, when the puck soaks up water, the pull is much slower. Without

RO water creates oxidation??? per a seller.

So what is the "wrong stuff"? I was told sodium bicarb at 0.3g/gal was okay. I was also told/suggested to run water out of the hot water tap occasionally (Normally I never use the machines "hot water" tap - if I need hot water I use the Keurig(Matcha and such)). I just now ran hot water out

So basically there are so many variable that even with "end game" grinders you/me might not like the taste with our particular coffee, machine or even they way we draw our espressos?
