ACS waiting times
I was told last week that mine would be shipping out mid-April. I'm just going to hope it gets here by June, but I am not counting on it

Red/brown water when emptying La Pavoni Europiccola boiler
yes i replaced the C clip a few months ago, I got it from espressocare. I can't find anything stuck in the siphon tube. I'll order a new tube from Stefano, and see if that solves my problem

Caffeine break
About 25 years ago the doctor told me to quit caffeine cold turkey and at that time I was drinking no less than 4 cups a day, usually more. I went an entire year without caffeine and I didn't notice one single thing different so I went back on the caffeine. I drink considerably less now, and have an espresso

Understanding Brew Pressure, Flow, Valves, and "Slayer Shots"
Thanks once again Jake! I took some time to digest your response. I think all is making sense! I found another thread more centered around PID and HX's stability, and have been partaking over there - thanks Jeff. I suppose, further to my message about adding a PID will make things stable, and it not

Downgrading from Slayer. Options sought.
Agree with @jtbenson You should at least consider a Decent. It has a relatively small footprint, very quick warm up time and capable of being as simple as push a button for great espresso or as complicated as controlling every variable of extraction. The Decent would be a "downgrade" only in size and style of machine
