Fellow's new brewer - Aiden Q&A
I'm really interested in Aiden. But I have question. How many times can you make puls? I love to have 10 pulse for dark roast coffee. Thanks!

Too bad those are covered up by metal enclosure. At that price point, it should be glass enclosure

Any alternative to Behmor?
I've used Behmor for years before upgrading to ET/BT sensor roaster that allows Artisan hookup. I'll never go back to none Artisan roasting. It's that much more fun. Aliexpress has many roasters around $1K with USB connection

Understanding Brew Pressure, Flow, Valves, and "Slayer Shots"
Thanks once again Jake! I took some time to digest your response. I think all is making sense! I found another thread more centered around PID and HX's stability, and have been partaking over there - thanks Jeff. I suppose, further to my message about adding a PID will make things stable, and it not

Downgrading from Slayer. Options sought.
Agree with @jtbenson You should at least consider a Decent. Caffeine break
No. Non-ischemic cardiomyopathy and not related to coffee, caffeine, cholesterol or anything else the medical industry knows can cause this. They simply do not know what caused my issue. BTW, it wasn't COVID either. But they applied a standard cocktail of medications, improved my diet slightly and got me to exercise regularly (not that I was

Breville Dual Boiler Manual Descaling
The pressure with the blind is the max going into your puck. if you are getting 10bar with your shot then you are grinding a little too fine. You don't need to adjust the OPV (it's there as a safety valve anyway). If you are really interested in pressure profiling then the slayer mod would be a better way to

Caffeine break
Like my Mom, I could drink coffee anytime and sleep the sleep of the dead. Now I, like my missus and many of our Pfizer vax'd friends, have developed heart arrhythmia. I cut out coffee, chocolate, alcohol, licorice and Omega 3 oil in capsules. And yes, life is still worth living. At a month shy of my
