Fellow Aiden anyone?

I love the ceramic coating on Carter's mugs (I have 2). I wash them after each use with baking soda. No smell, no stains. As far as Aiden, no interest

ECM Giotto water flow is uneven

1.1Bar constant in the boiler sounds fine. 96 on the head thermometer sounds fine, if it jumps 1 degree when the brew valve opens, that's the HX water flashing to steam with the pressure release, you'll want to let the flush run until there are no steam bubbles on the showerface, shut the brew valve, then lock in the

Olympia Cremina lever questions after group gasket replacement

Olympia Cremina lever questions after group gasket replacement

Second attempt was made this morning, a stronger resulting coffee since I had some idea of what to expect based on the first attempt. The lever still wants to force itself down without any assistance from me, no need

Olympia Cremina lever questions after group gasket replacement

There's a bit of a learning curve, but you have gear that's capable of world class espresso, fresh beans and grind finer until you achieve a 25 second extraction. There should be considerable resistance on the lever but not so much that you need body weight behind it. Joel

Replace Izzo Alex Duetto II expansion valve

That is a true horror of an expansion valve. You could put a more standard one in, but you would have to change the plumbing a little. A longer but of silicone tube. Plus routing the high pressure tube to the threaded and of the expansion valve. Using this or a similar expansion valve. {link}
