Upgrading my Grinder Game

That is a stunning combination. Is it hard to get a Kafatek? It looks like they are deposit only?

Espresso Cafe Suggestions for London?

I like Prufrock coffee. They have a great selection of light roast beans to buy and take home if you're into that. Espresso is typically good to very good as well. Redemption roasters is very decent, and they typically have a single origin espresso in addition to their house espresso blend

Upgrading my Grinder Game

I haven't tried any of the grinders you mentioned so can't give an opinion but have heard good things about them. I do have a KafaTek MC5, soon to be MC6, paired with my Slayer and it works beautifully. There are a number of Slayer owners that have KafaTek grinders that influenced my choice. Both the MC5 and MC6

What is this part... Fiorenzato Bricoletta

A GFCI trips if it detects a difference in voltage greater than about .005, and if your circuit is a dual GFCI/AFCI you may have a real tough time getting it to work. Make sure all your ground paths are clean, and your wiring isn't corroded. I think part of it is the way the chassis is grounded to everything

Latte Art Diagnosis

The first video above looks the best so far. You definitely give it a good push which causes some white to stream out from the pitcher. The foam is a little bit too thick, but still workable for making a rosetta. Maybe next time go for the rosetta. Just remember to do the push/pull motion to

Mobile or hotel room brewing?

It's whatever level of caution or paranoia one feels is appropriate since you can't really know what was done. At least you can look inside a kettle yourself

Beginner seeking espresso setup first purchase recommendations

I think you are on the right track for a beginner, going with a single dose grinder, for sure. It will make it easier to switch between different coffees as you are figuring out what you like/don't like in the world of espresso (just keep good notes as you go). For a beginner, any of the grinders you mentioned
