The espressovision.com domain isn't active. Has Zach stopped making the Roast Vision device?

1959 Faema Urania Three Group Hydraulic with Hotel Group

yep Hydraulic group disassembly I proceeded to open up one of the hydraulic groups. As said earlier it is very heavy. The first things that need to come off are the plated inlet/outlet pipes, followed by the engagement lever and a removable pin/spring. {image} {image} {image} {image} {image} {image} The lower group was taken off similarly to

There are some great cross-sectional illustrations at "E61 Group Espresso Machine: Detailed Interior Schematics" Drilling down into the cam chamber and then up from the dispersion block recess seems like a very reasonable way to get the two connected reliably. I actually do have such a guy, my boss at work built the most ridiculous home workshop I've ever seen. He's always looking for projects to make use of it, too. It's quite surprising that the E61 hole did not have some obvious utility designed around it. As I understand it, they needed to drill a hole, and then

Lelit Bianca User Experience

Thanks everyone for all the great info on this thread. Just received my Bianca V3 on Saturday. Set it up, pulled three shots and it's was fabulous. Really thought it would take awhile to get decent shots. I adjusted the flow paddle to get the full range from off to on. Still waiting for my

Moka pot question about the amount of coffee in the filter basket

What actually killed the person? Do you have a link? I was thinking the same thing. What you are describing is overextraction and that can be due to a combination of too fine a grind, too much time, and/or too high a temperature. The brewing in a moka pot actually begins pretty early in the process as the

Now all you need is a friend with a machine shop so you can tap into the group head for a thermal sensor and keep the manometer in the now-usual place. Somehow I don't think the E61 designers thought of that hole as anything other than a manufacturing necessity
