Troubleshooting la Peppina double basket fit

Untill I feel that the tamper can't compress the coffee puck anymore. It's preferable to stick with the same tamp pressure every time so it isn't a variable but rather something constant and repeatable. In the video I posted, Lance explains the potential issues of light and hard tamping pressures. Distribution and an even tamp is worth

Profitec Pro 800, won't heat after power outage

Could be the solid state relay. I think they're sensitive to over voltage damage. A power outage surge could do that

Odyssey Argos owner experience

Aye, I'd really like to know more about this, because apparently we don't really know what the brew pressure is across the shot?

Profitec Pro 800, won't heat after power outage

Hi all. The ice storm knocked out power for a couple of days now. Before power went out, it was flickering a few times. Usually the machine is on 24/7, has been for over 3 years. I have the house now on a gasoline generator. When I flip on the switch , the green light is on. The orange

Roasting Gayo Wet-Hulled

Is the orange line near the top your gas levels? The roast looks flat after 7:30 until the end, the RoR after first crack should be usually be decreasing so i would suggesting lowering the gas leading up to fist crack and after. Again I would wait 24 hours to cup, and possibly try to find a similar style

The espresso journey begins...setup advice, please!

I assume it will be similar to a Breville Infuser, and if so, my daughter had that paired with a Niche and pulled excellent espresso. We sold it in excellent condition to another user on HB for $390, and that included an aftermarket bottomless portafilter with a beautiful wooden handle, tamper, WDT tool, metal blind basket, soft brush, 54mm metal

Weber EG-1 noises on fine grind settings

Yeah, something doesn't sound right to me. The high end grinders will have <0.0Xmm alignment (even my EK43S is 0.025mm or below, depending on the burrs), so I wouldn't imagine it's possible to see the misalignment with a naked eye. If you can see that the burrs are not parallel... I'd contact Weber

Dull, flat flavour with V60 and 1Zpresso SP6

Looks too coarse. Drop to 4.3-4.5, and use 90-92 degrees, also I have great results with the 4:6 technique. On top of that, check your water
