Best grinder aesthetically for KDVW Speedster

Anodized might fit the best to the raw Speedster, it is also the cheapest surface. (not in stock, maybe next year) {image} {image}

Mazzer Omega hand grinder

Apologies if this has been covered but how's the Omega for pourover compared to say a C40? We've just moved into a new house and there's not really space for the Linea Mini/espresso grinder and the brew grinder/Moccamaster. So I'm switching the brew setup to just a V60 and hand grinder. I had a C40 I used for

Replace Izzo Alex Duetto II expansion valve

Hi, it looks like my Izzo Alex Duetto II expansion valve has kicked the bucket. I've been unable to remove the spring inside despite best efforts. Perhaps there's scale buildup preventing the spring from coming out. My machine is from 2012, bought in Canada, though I'm now living in Europe. I'd like to replace the expansion valve but have no

Bezzera Magica leak from brew head

Hi everyone, I have the machine for approx. one year. I enjoy it very much. Lately though I have this issue: Every now and then, and only when I use the single filter (double no issues at all) I experience a small coffee leakage from the left side of the brew head. I tried to tighten the filter

Best grinder aesthetically for KDVW Speedster

Problem with my Flair 58 plus

Yes, this never ending story of selling "improvements" to customers is well know to me. Microsoft has been doing similar for decades ... Problem is that design isn't ok. Somewhere in the middle of the pull link between lever and plunger is a few degrees from vertical, so that force to the plunger is acting at angle to the

Breville Dual Boiler Mods and Maintenance

well, the pump is completely serviceable... IOW, it can be diassembled, inspected, and re-assembled. If you think something has gone crook with it after you fiddled with it, you can always do so:{video}Personally I would guess that it's not the pump, but for peace of mind...??? If you're getting air bubbles, we're down to basic techie/tradie techniques to find

Actual knockboxes

I just use a flick of the wrist with my thumb or finger on the edge of the basket when I empty the puck into the trash can. For tougher pucks, I'll hold my left arm out and hit it with my right hand holding the portafilter to help dislodge the puck
