Quiet, Soft Vibe Pump Mount Solutions
I can think of a couple of solutions. One was posted a while back, although I can't find it. The OP simply didn't mount the vibe pump at all; he left it suspended by the hoses. Silicone can be glued; so you could make your own mounts, using some sheet silicone from the home wares section of your department store

Caffeine break
I'm just starting to explore decaf. So far I've had Ritual Los Montanos Decaf, Chromatic Shadow Puppet, Saka Decaffeinato, and George Howell JardÃn Espresso. I love the Chromatic decaf. Ritual (which is the one I had years ago by accident) is pretty good. The Saka is too roasty for me despite the fact that I love their caffeinated blends. And

Quest M6
A Resistance Temperature Detector is a resistor whose value changes with temperature. The resistance increases as the temperature of the sensor increases. A thermocouple measures temperature using two different types of metals, joined together at one end. When the joint is heated or cooled, a voltage is created that corresponds to the temperature. The "type" of thermocouple varies dependent on

Weber Workshops UNIBASKET grounds stuck
I knock the puck out and give the PF a quick rinse in the sink. I then hold the steam wand so it's touching (or almost touching) the bottom of the basket with the PF upside down. I'm using a DE1, so I may have dryer steam than some machines, but it doesn't make a mess. It does get a

Breville Barista Express + bottomless portafilter
Haz... Thanks for the reply. I agree with you! It's been a few months that i've been buying my beans from a roaster not too far from me. Their beans, compared to the regular store-bought brands is night and day. The crema you get from freshly roasted beans is completely different. I was stuck this week and couldn't go pick

Breville Barista Express + bottomless portafilter
Hi all, I was just going through some posts on here and came across this one. Even though it's old, I still wanted to provide some input. I've had a Barista Express for about seven years and switched to a bottomless portafilter two years ago. I can confirm that the freshness of your beans is 90% (or more)

User Experience with the Strietman CT2
Thanks for this insight. I'd like to not have it on a board for sure. Hard to picture what you mean exactly about the edge pad but I guess it will be more obvious when the machine arrives. If you don't mind could you measure the length of the area from just behind the vertical risers of the

Mazzer Philos Grinder Review
Here's the TL;DR introductory post about one size fits all grinders, and how the Philos hits a home run in this new category. {image} Augur fed 200 burr, shown uncleaned after two weeks use. Many people's first home grinder was a small conical with ten to twenty grind settings marked from "Espresso" to "French Press." The first
