Shocked to read this thread about flow rate changing with the 1/2 pot, full pot switch. I went and re-read my original instructions from 2016 and the only reference to that switch is hot plate temperature. No idea when they switched over to the flow rate also being controlled by that switch. I sent mine in for

Help purchasing ECM Home, Profitec Go, or Pro 300...

Any E61-style machine is going to take 30-45 minutes to be ready from cold. For me, that has become a significant drawback. I got used to deciding I wanted an espresso and bring about to enjoy one within 15 minutes. A smart switch can help for mornings if your timing is predictable, but not really later in the day.

ACS waiting times

I'm not quite sure why you expected an exception, I fully expected to pay import duty and why it sat in customs an entire week (and no reason given) it was levied at $75, which I was pleased with as I did not feel there was any recourse if they levy a higher amount. I got the same "provide

Meticulous vs Decent

Hi all, I'm looking to upgrade from my Sage Oracle machine and wanted some advice. I'm currently looking at the Decent machines but stumbled across the Meticulous machine which caught my interest. I understand that the Meticulous is looking to ship some time this year supposedly and offers some cool advanced controls and aspects similar to the

Micro sieve basket

I've used the Reneka basket, if you look at the bottom of the spent puck you will notice a dark ring around the outer edge. The basket does not extract well in this region

Moving from Mignon Specialita to Ceado e37s or Atom 75

Hi folks, I realise this has been done to death, and I have spent hours on here reading all the previous discussions. I guess I have a few questions which I'd be hugely grateful for any views on. My main question is will I likely taste a difference in the espresso shots ? I'm using the eureka
