Long startup - Vibiemme Domobar Super
Thanks, appreciate your help. Given the age of the machine I wouldn't be surprised if it's the solenoid. I might be best to take it into the shop and get the pros to sort it out. Cheers

Moka pot question about the amount of coffee in the filter basket
Thanks for your post. Yeah, the thing is I've been letting taste be my guide since the mid-90s with BIalettis but the thing is that my philosophy has always been that with certain time honoured things, there is a way to do it. Meaningful upgrade from Lelit Bianca V3
One other point. ALL espresso MACHINES HAVE PREINFUSION. Preinfusion has somehow become some sort of mystic 'feature' when the reality is every single machine has it. Preinfusion is the time from pump on to the coffee hitting pressure (sometimes referred to as the dwell). Flow Control or Line Pressure (or manual levers or certain

About the quality and price tag, for sure there will be better beans, but I am not

(Ab)using the Europiccola to pull coffee instead of espresso
You can store coffee in your fridge to extend its life by quite a lot. For example, the oldest roasted coffee in my refrigerator is coming up to a year old. However, unlike storing in a deep freezer, the coffee will still age appreciably, just much slower than coffee stored at room temperature

Brasilia Club - boiler keep pushing out gasket
Thank you Jake for your time! That diagram is not my Brasilia Club. As I know, that is diagram of Brasilia Lady. Brasilia club is more crazy simple. There is no normal thermostat on it boiler. There is only one high limit thermostat. Yes, gasket #7 was pushed out. Both of times, gasket was pushed out after about 3 minute
