Alternatives to BPlus shower screen

Is one sintered-screen better than the other. I see thickness is a factor, 1.7mm seems to be the thicker ones. i'm not sure how thick a bplus screen is

Used Elektra Microcasa a Leva with shipping damage - safe to use? Worth repairing?

I had a similar issue with one of these several years ago. I was able to get the boiler repaired and then restored the machine. It was overall in much worse condition then yours. I suggest repairing it. If you decide not to and wish to sell it, let me know.

Needs alignment -- pour pulls to one side

Better still, remove the screen and water spreader and level against the group face. The outside bell may not be true to the machined group face. Use something like this {image} and calibrated with a known true level OR Use a true spacer to measure the group face and verify it is true with the PF bell.

you'll be sorry Buy a Nespresso. Coffee is expensive, but it's really consistent. 2x Roma pulled short is a very pretty good cup. More than a few espressionistas have concurred when the Nespresso topic is discussed.
